Double room featuring a comfortable bed which made it easy to sleep soundly after a long haul. The overall decor had a quirky charm that set a unique vibe, making the stay feel distinctively memorable.

The sink area is so shallow that it’s hard to wash up without soaking everything, which can be a bit of a hassle. Lighting in the room was tricky. the floor lamp seemed pointless, only activating when the main lights were on, and no bedside lamps meant adjusting lighting in the middle of the night was a challenge. there's no lift, which could be an issue for those with mobility challenges or when lugging heavy bags upstairs. Lastly, the absence of a kettle in the room made mornings awkward—I had to venture into a dim corridor for boiling water, not the best when you're not quite awake yet.

I loved how convenient it was to stroll to Blaise Castle House Museum, which is just over a kilometer away, and to enjoy the beautiful park views at Blaise Castle, a short walk from the hotel that added to my weekend exploration vibe.

Had a nice solo stay for a night. The location is super convenient, and the diner’s food was a hit! The design is also pretty cool, just feels a bit cramped in the room. Would’ve liked a bit more space, but overall, it was cozy enough for me.

mollie's motel & diner has a fab location, just a short walk to the city center. our double room was clean and spacious, making it very comfortable. the staff were friendly, especially in the diner where the food was fab. definitely good value for money!

The diner next door offered a fantastic variety of food and drinks, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my visit. I particularly appreciated the on-tap hot and cold water stations readily available in the hallway. One minor improvement could be having a kettle in the room for added convenience.

They were attentive, though a bit more training could help, as they forgot my drink order. The free onsite safe parking really added to the convenience.

I had a great stay! The hot water dispenser in the corridor was amazing and made life so easy. I also loved the rapid EV charging bays! The unique bathroom layout with separate zones was a standout feature too. Would definitely choose this place again!

Despite the service issues, the stay was decent at a good price. The common areas were inviting and well-recognized as accessible for everyone.
